Y6 Celebrations and Farewells

A busy few weeks of celebrations included a brilliant Year 6 Leavers trip to several surprise locations for much fun and games, followed by a delicious, joyful afternoon tea party. Next a pilgrimage to St Peter’s Church, walking across the fields and a special reflection of endings and beginnings. Every child then took their turn to ring the church bells and climb the church tower to enjoy the magnificent view as they ‘travel on’. Our Y6 leaver’s assembly had poignant memories, hopes and aspirations built into a beautiful service designed by Y6. It bought us lots of laughter and tears as they reviewed and remembered their days at primary school. Finally an afternoon of rounders and BBQ with children, families and teachers rounded off an incredible celebration. Our wonderful Y6 have lived our school values of Joy, Courage, Compassion and Aspiration in their time at Holy Trinity Primary Academy and these values are the foundations of our school community.
