The Snowman

Y5 children had the incredible opportunity to perform alongside Dauntsey’s School Symphony Orchestra in the musical adaption of the legendary children’s book The Snowman. A workshop with Head of Music, Ms Dury a few weeks ago, followed by a busy afternoon of rehearsal on Monday, enabled the children to showcase their vocal talents and teamwork as a choir of 180 primary school singers, to a captivated audience of families. The collaboration provided a unique learning experience, as children practiced blending their voices with orchestral music, whilst enhancing their musical performance skills and an appreciation for live orchestral collaboration.
