Stonehenge Class visit Stonehenge
It has been a busy week for the children in Stonehenge class. We began the week by visiting the 'Real Stonehenge'. It was a wet and windy day but we had great fun exploring the Neolithic houses, finding out what it may have been like to live in the Stone Age and of course, taking a walk around the amazing Prehistoric Monument. Whilst on the trip numerous members of staff and the general public commented on how well behaved and polite the children were - a real credit to our school community! We continued the theme of Stonehenge when we returned to school by making Stone Age bread and fruit stew and creating some fabulous Stonehenge art.
