Music for Miniatures

We welcomed Music for Miniatures into school on Tuesday for two amazing live classical music workshops for every child in their key stage groups. This included an inspirational  ‘Bubble Bach’ performance (woodwind and strings) followed by an incredible interactive live concert with brass and percussion.  What unfolded was profound and uplifting, engaging all children; mixing some laugh-out-loud moments (hosepipe trumpet playing!) with some really lovely music; some new and some familiar to them. It was wonderful to see lots of the children spontaneously moving to the live music.

The music and bubble display created a sense of awe and wonder in our children as they watched the creation of some incredible bubble shapes with movement and smoke.  Both workshops provided a super enriching experience for the children, supported  by the Music Mark Award. What a wonderful morning!
