Discovering Dinosaurs!

Stonehenge Class had a fantastic morning of learning when the Wiltshire Museum came to visit!
The children discovered what life was like in Wiltshire during prehistoric times and learned about some of the dinosaurs that once roamed the area. They had the exciting opportunity to handle real fossil artefacts, explore how fossils are formed, and study a timeline of animals dating back millions of years.  Everyone became a palaeontologist for the day—digging for fossils in the sand, creating their own clay ammonites, and painting dinosaur pictures using a range of art materials.

Our special visitor was extremely impressed by the children’s enthusiasm and their brilliant knowledge of dinosaurs and fossils. The children asked and answered some fantastic questions - well done, everyone!
