An Extraordinary Year!

We made wonderful memories with our friends at St Peter’s Church, Great Cheverell for a special morning of reflection, chiming the bells, climbing the church tower and pilgrimage stories this week. It was a privilege to share such a special time together. As we reach the end of an extraordinary school year,  we took a moment to reflect on all we have shared together at Holy Trinity.

 From outstanding learning and growing friendships to exciting trips, inspiring visitors, music, sport and adventure, this year has been filled with memorable experiences. We celebrated our Eco-Schools Green Flag Award, enjoyed the Autumn Fair, Winter Wonderland, Christmas shows, Bake Off, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, The Wizard of Oz, music concerts, Sports Day, Dog Show and Grow a Pound projects, including a cookbook, cake sales, a pop-up restaurant and tea parties. Most importantly, we have learned and grown together in a school full of joy. Thank you to everyone who helped make this such a special and unforgettable year.

 And finally,

Dear Year 6,

As you reach the end of your primary school journey, I want you to know how immensely proud I am of every one of you. You have enriched our school community with your joy, courage, compassion and aspiration. You have met challenges with determination, supported one another with genuine kindness and friendship, and celebrated success with humility. Watching you grow into confident, thoughtful and capable young people has been a privilege.

 As you move on to secondary school and the opportunities ahead, carry these values with you.

Let joy, hope and positivity guide your path.

Be brave enough to try new things.

Show compassion to others and to yourselves.

Hold firmly to your aspirations and believe in your ability to achieve great things.

 There will be challenges and there will also be exciting opportunities. Trust in yourselves, take pride in who you are, and remember that true success lies not only in what you achieve, but in the difference you make to others. Thank you for the memories, the joy and all that you have given to our school. We will miss you deeply, but we are excited for everything you will go on to achieve.
